Omakase Inc. has announced a strategic partnership with DABCO Limited (brand name: Pairpoint), a joint venture between Vodafone Group Plc and Sumitomo Corporation.
Pairpoint is the brand name of DABCO Limited, a joint venture between Vodafone Group Plc, a major UK telecommunications operator, and Sumitomo Corporation (Headquarters: London, UK, CEO: Jorge Bento, hereinafter “DABCO”). It is a platform that offers the Economy of Things (EoT). Pairpoint is engaged in utilizing EoT on a decentralized network using blockchain technology. Omakase Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Nishi-ku, Osaka City, President: Eisuke Watanabe, hereinafter “the Company”) has entered into a strategic partnership with Pairpoint to jointly promote the development of a decentralized infrastructure using blockchain technology.
With predictions that over 8 billion mobile phones and 30 billion Internet of Things (IoT) devices will be connected by 2030, EoT requires devices to autonomously and securely transact with one another.
